Audineh Asaf is an interdisciplinary artist from Seattle of Iranian-American heritage. Through hybrid forms of drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, and collage, she explores themes of identity, culture, urban life, and the natural world. Her artwork reveals the beauty and energy that often goes unnoticed and sheds light on the overlooked, marginalized, or neglected aspects of life to foster awareness, appreciation, and advocacy for these subjects.

She is driven by a belief in the power of art to illuminate critical issues that demand our attention and to foster cross-cultural understanding and dialogue. In response to the civil unrest and protests against the government of Iran, she has used her art to give visibility to the Iranian people risking their lives for change. Audineh's award-winning 'Woman Life Freedom' series, recognized by MOZAIK Philanthropy, has been exhibited at venues across North America, including the Jacob Lawrence Gallery at the University of Washington School of Art + Art History + Design (Seattle, WA), Culture Lab, LIC (Queens, NY), CityScape Community ArtSpace (Vancouver, BC), and Gallery II at the Washington State University Department of Art (Pullman, WA).

Audineh is currently establishing the Iranian Artist Alliance, dedicated to fostering a supportive and empowering community for Iranians in the arts. She is committed to creating a space where Iranian artists can flourish, their voices are heard, and their art is celebrated. Through collaboration, mentorship, and advocacy, Audineh seeks to build a more inclusive and equitable art world that values and uplifts the talents and stories of Iranian artists.

Audineh is a recipient of the 2023 MAC Fellowship through the Robert B. McMillen Foundation. She holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Visual Art from the University of Washington and earned an MFA in Interdisciplinary Art from Goddard College. Audineh serves as faculty and Chair of the Art Department at Edmonds College.
